We’ve had this faucet for about 2 months and I can’t wait to get a new one. The handle is too heavy so if you can only use it with the water coming out full blast. If you try to use it with it producing less water, gravity pulls the handle down and it shuts off. The pull out sprayer goes back in very akwardly. It does not go back in by itself, you have to work it back into the opening. And the soap dispenser is junk. It’s only redeeming quality is that it looks good.

I have owned this faucet for 5 years. Other than the fact that if you have it on too low of a water pressure it does turn off by itself, I couldn’t have been happier with it’s looks or function. Be careful though, I noticed last night that there were green flecks in my water in my pot. I immediately ran to the bathroom to see if it was a water control issue. Nope. I then cleaned the sprayer with vinegar which i do regularly. Better – but still green flecks. I then had my husband pull the sprayer apart and inside we found that the silver lining was flaking off of the plastic inside! YIKES – I have a 4 month old infant, and I’m scared to death that even though I boil his water I don’t know how long that lining has been coming off. I immediately called Price Pfister and their customer service is amazing. I told them it was just the sprayer part but they said no they would send a whole new faucet, as a matter of fact if I preferred they would let me pick any other faucet that I liked so that I wouldn’t worry about it possibly happening again. They are call tagging the old faucet, which I’m very glad so that if it is a more widespread problem they will be able to alert their consumers or fix whatever caused the issue. I chose the Hanover, but I do really love the Contempra – i just don’t want to take the chance that it may happen again. Truly though, I can’t say enough about their customer service, I will happily purchase from them in the future when we redo our bathrooms as well.

It a good faucet but I found it to be too high so the water splashes.
The pullout need to be pushed and adjusted into place
But this could be just me. Otherwise very nice contemporary.

I should have paid more attention to other people’s comments. As others stated in their reviews, the faucet turns itself off unless it is wide open. This will drive you mad. I removed the handle and tightened the compression nut as much as I dared, but still the problem persisted. I have now had the set installed for a year and I guess enough deposits have built up internally that the self turn-off problem has subsided. The soap dispenser stopped working about 2 months ago. I found the the tiny hole at the tip seemed to be internally lined with plastic and was constricted. I used a 1/16″ drill and carefully drilled through the tip. This corrected the problem (at least for now). This set is expensive and should work better for the amount of money. Also, the extreme high rise of the faucet leads to horrible splashing problems.

I’m looking because I have this faucet in a house about 7 years old. The soap dispenser broke a year ago. When using the spray feature, you do have to turn the water all the way off to go back to stream. And the final kicker, the handle is leaking somewhere and I don’t know were. I called the company and they were not familiar with the symptoms I gave (leaking somewhere up high and then dripping down into my cabinet. They thought it would be a part in the handle but also was surprised my water continued to come out of the faucet without loss of pressure. So for $25 I could buy a part that may or may not fix the problem. I chose to look for a new faucet. It looks good and other than the spray thing worked good when it worked.
